The Pre-Teen Arkansas Scholarship and Recognition Program was held recently
at the Holiday Inn in Ft. Smith, AR. Over eighty (80) of Arkansas’ best and
brightest top female students, ages 7 to 12 years of age, competed for over
$5,000.00 in educational bonds, prizes and awards. They were also vying for
the opportunity to represent the State of Arkansas at the 2006 Pre-Teen
America National Competition, to be held July 2-7, 2005 at the Sheraton
Hotel in Birmingham, AL. There, they will be competing for over $25,000.00
in educational bonds, prizes and awards. 1st Runner-Ups (Tied): Breanna Boyd - 11 years old from Fayetteville, AR and Stormey Langhammer - 12 years old from Monticello, AR 2nd Runner-Ups (Tied): Rebecca Rutherford - 12 years old from Bay, AR and Lauren Beasley - 12 years old from Royal, AR. 3rd Runner-Ups (Tied): Mallorie Spiker - 11 years old from
